Frequently Asked Questions
What areas do you serve?
We inspect homes in Nashville and the surrounding Middle Tennessee counties. If you're not sure whether we cover your property, just ask.
How is pricing determined?
Every home is different, so we quote each inspection based on the property, such as its size, age, foundation type and the services you need. Send us a few details through our Request a Quote form, or give us a call, and we'll get back to you.
What does a home inspection cover?
A home inspection is a non-invasive, visual and physical examination of the readily accessible mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, along with the essential interior and exterior structural components of the home, performed under the Tennessee Standards of Practice for home inspectors. Your report includes photos of what we find and a Summary of the most important items.
What isn't included?
The inspection does not include testing for organic growth, asbestos, lead-based paint, insects, rodents, carbon monoxide or radon gas (radon testing is available as a separate service). It does not cover underground systems such as septic or sewer lines, below-grade water supply pipes or fuel storage, and it is not a building code compliance inspection.
Do you offer radon testing?
Yes. We offer NRPP-compliant 48-hour radon gas tests throughout Middle Tennessee using Airthings test equipment, and radon testing is discounted when bundled with another service.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes. We offer a 10% discount for military, police and first responders.
